We announce with great joy Fondren Apartment Ministry updates—God is at work and Westbury is responding!

NEWEST MEMBER
Westbury UMC welcomed Eric Mukuba to the apartment ministry team! Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eric hails most recently from Dallas/Fort Worth and has joined the team as he feels called to minister with refugees. He offers his gifting with languages to the ministry (French, English, Lingala, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swahili).

THE BIG MOVE
Daniel and Lindsey Heathcock, along with Hannah and Eric, relocated to apartments at the Reserve at Bankside on March 9, 2013. They are settling into a rhythm of life together: one of missional purpose through prayer, hospitality and service. The community follows a Rule of Life, a covenant detailing their 5-fold commitment as disciples to prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness. The Rule of Life purposefully and continuously points them toward why they relocated together to Fondren Road.

DAILY PRAYER
Daniel, Eric, Hannah, and Lindsey meet together for prayer in their apartments Monday through Friday at 6:30 am, and anyone is welcome to join. Through prayer, they are discerning together how they offer daily their gifts and graces to God and the neighborhood.

COMMUNITY MEAL
Come and join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm to share a simple meal (soup and bread provided), prayer, and praise. Receive our gift of hospitality while meeting and making new friends from neighboring apartment complexes. Through eating and praying and worshiping together, God will grow us in relationship with one another. As we grow in friendship with one another, the gospel of Jesus Christ changes us and changes our neighborhood. Each week, we will meet at the apartment of Daniel and Lindsey Heathcock: 10800 Fondren Rd, Apt 2822, Houston 77096.
